Blended/Remote Learning/Covid-19

For children who are not attending school, we are providing ‘blended/remote learning’ which means that we will replicate the curriculum being taught in school online for pupils at home through our online portals – as far as possible.

The main portal is 'Class Dojo'.  Parents have access to 'Class Dojo' and the work will be added daily for the children to access. Pre-recorded videos are also added to the portal so that the children can understand what they are being asked to do. Relevant activities or worksheets are also added  so that they can be completed at home. Children in Key Stage 1 will also be provided with work packs which can then be returned to school.  Parents can then upload work to Class Dojo or Tapestry in the EYFS so that teachers can comment on the work.

We are very mindful that it can be an extremely stressful time for everyone and we will support you in supporting your child with their home learning.  Should you have any problems accessing the Class Dojo or any queries about this, please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance through the messaging function. Alternatively, you can phone the school office.
