About Us
At Spire Nursery and Infant School you will receive a warm welcome from the staff, children, parents and governors.
Our ASPIRE values (aspiration, self-esteem, progress, independence, resilience and enterprise) are reflected in a caring, supportive ethos where children are challenged to be the best that they can be.
Our school is based strongly on our community by developing effective relationships with our children and families. We are committed to working together to ensure that every child has the best start to their school life and that they are prepared and ready for the next stage of their education.
The children are at the centre of our school but every member of Spire Nursery and Infant School has an important part to play in ensuring our success.
"One pupil described the school as, ‘A family, we are all special. No matter who you are, we are all part of this school.’" (Ofsted 2023)
Pupils consistently achieve better than expected progress at the end of Key Stage 1 and pupils with SEN make exceptional progress.
Our experienced team of staff works incredibly hard to ensure that we continue to support children to achieve their best. Our curriculum is designed to engage all children in exciting activities that have a lasting impact, ensuring that skills are used across the curriculum.
"This is a highly inclusive school" (Ofsted 2023)
We believe that building good partnerships with parents and our community is extremely important; we work closely with other schools and outside agencies to support families and members of local faith groups visit to conduct assemblies.
We welcome all visitors into school.
Our extra-curricular activities are second-to-none and include various gardening clubs, dance, gymnastics, and animal care clubs.
Spire is an exciting place to be whether you are a child or a grown up!
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any other information about us.
Kind regards,
