Busy Bears Nursery

Summer 6 Newsletter 2017

Welcome back to the second half of the Summer Term. We hope you had a good Half term break.

Alexa has been back a while now and is back in the swing of things.

This term we are having a change and continuing with the learning theme Growing.

The term is broken into weekly mini themes…

Week 1 – The Enormous Turnip – growing vegetables.

Week 2 – Growing fruit – forest schools.

Week 3 – Growing animals – (dinosaurs).

Week 4 – I’m growing.

Week 5 – Transition week.

Week 6 – Arts’ week.

Week 7 – Children’s choice.

Week four is very busy as we have sports’ day and Key Strings visiting.

This will be some of your children’s last term with us and we will be sorry to see them go, although we feel reassured that we have prepared them well for the next phase of their education. For those parents that we will not be seeing next year, thank you for the support that you have given your child over the last year or so, both your children and the nursery staff really appreciate it.

Staffing – I (Paul) am reducing my hours to part time in September 2017 and will be working 5 mornings per week. It will be sad not to see the afternoon children but I’m not getting any younger! Deb is also reducing her hours but she will see all the children as she is doing 3 full days.

  • Please continue to share any relevant information in home school books.
  • Please remember to call us if your child will not be attending nursery.

As always, we hope your child has a happy term with us, if you have any concerns, please call or see a member of staff, who will be happy to help. Our direct number is 01246 208907.
